Valencia star Joao Cancelo has told his nearest and dearest that he will be joining Serie A champions Juventus this summer.

The Portuguese international has established himself as one of Europe's better full-backs over the past couple of seasons, and has really made a name for himself at the Mestalla Stadium.

Cancelo began his senior career with Benfica - specifically their B side - before being loaned out to Valencia and making the move permanent in 2015.

His performances in Spain helped him to break into the senior Portugal squad, after turning out for all other youth teams.

Italian giants Juventus have just lost Dani Alves to Paris Saint-Germain, and are in need of a dynamic and attacking full-back to replace his quality, and Cancelo apparently wants to be their man.

As reported by local radio station RadioEsport, Cancelo has informed those closest to him that he will join the Bianconeri this summer, but a fee has not yet been agreed.

Plaza Deportivo claim (via juvefc.com) the Old Lady could shell out as much as €25m to secure his services, and there is little doubt he would be able to slot into the new 4-2-3-1 formation Max Allegri is planning on using for the upcoming season.
