Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho could leave the club after failing to show up for training several times.

Sancho was omitted from City's pre-season squad for their tour of the US, and now the Telegraph believe he could leave, with Bundesliga clubs RB Leipzig or Borussia Dortmund interested, while Arsenal and Tottenham also want the England U17 international.

The winger was expected to join up with fellow prodigies Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz as City visited Houston, Los Angeles and Nashville but was instead left in England as the Citizens lost to Manchester United and beat Real Madrid and Tottenham.

Sancho was angry at being left out of the squad and the report claims he has failed to appear for training a number of times while the senior team were in America, with club staff unable to contact the 17-year-old on several occasions.

City have offered the teenager a generous first professional contract whilst other top European clubs plots moves for Sancho but he is now expected to leave Pep Guardiola's side after falling out of favour.

Youngsters Foden and Diaz impressed during City's pre-season tour, with Foden garnering praise from manager Guardiola and Diaz scoring against both Real Madrid and Tottenham.

Leipzig and Dortmund believe a bid of just €200,000 could lure Sancho to Germany, with both sides producing impressive youth players in recent years.

Dortmund have signed Ousmane Dembele and Julian Weigl in recent years, both of whom have become first-team stars, while Leipzig have the likes of Naby Keita and Timo Werner available to them.
