When we think about the term 'most fouled' there are certain players in the Premier League that instantly spring to mind.

Players such as Wilfried Zaha, Sadio Mane, Dele Alli, Sergio Aguero, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Riyad Mahrez, Alexis Sanchez, Eden Hazard and Philippe Coutinho are just a few in England's top flight who are capable of drawing fouls to the advantage of their teams.

The latter trio of the aforementioned names have all started off the new season injured, and that has perhaps paved the way for a surprise name to top the charts of 'most fouled' player in the Premier League after two games.

Crystal Palace's loan star Ruben Loftus-Cheek is currently leading the way in the charts which seems a surprise given the player's strength attributes.

Evidently that hasn't counted for too much so far though, as the 21-year-old has drawn 10 fouls in his opening two fixtures - more than any other player.

Frank de Boer spoke of his unhappiness about Huddersfield's physicality on the opening weekend of the season, and Loftus-Cheek came in for a rough ride against the Terriers, as did teammate Wilfried Zaha, who is now injured.

Palace will be eyeing their first three points of the season as they host Swansea on Saturday, and will be hoping to make the most of any free-kicks or penalties won by their new foul magnet.
