Wolves are apparently close to signing PSV striker Jurgen Locadia ahead of a number of other clubs.

The 23-year-old is on the verge of joining the revolution at Molineux and could be announced in due course.

As reported by Sky reporter Rob Dorsett, Wolves are ahead of the likes of Sunderland and Premier League new boys Brighton.

Locadia has been with PSV for his entire professional career so far since coming through the youth ranks in 2011 and has already clocked up over 100 league games for the Eredivisie side.

He has two domestic titles to his name and a KNVB Cup, but it looks as though the versatile attacker's stint in his native Holland is about to come to an end.

Wolves have enjoyed a remarkable transfer window this summer after seeing their club already sign Ryan Bennett, Barry Douglas, Will Norris, Diogo Jota, Phil Ofosu-Ayeh, Roderick and most notably Ruben Neves for a club-record £15m from Porto.
