After Alexis Sanchez's summer transfer to Manchester City fell through on Deadline Day, Arsenal fans have been hoping that the club will at least get something in return when the Chilean leaves.

The transfer failed when it was revealed that Monaco's Thomas Lemar rejected advances to join the Gunners, meaning that Arsene Wenger was less inclined to let Sanchez go.

While AC Milan are interested in bringing Sanchez back to Italy, where he played for Udinese before moving to Barcelona, it seems that PSG are the main suitors for Alexis.

With aims to bolster their already phenomenal attacking lineup of Neymar and Mbappe, the French giants are willing to offer German international Julian Draxler. Arsene Wenger has had an interest in the German for years and there have always been rumours that circulate every transfer window about Arsenal making a bid for the winger.

Draxler scored a Van Persie-esque volley on the weekend in PSG's demolition of Bordeaux, and many believe that he will be a good like-for-like replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

There is even the added bonus that Sanchez, who has been a difficult character for Wenger to deal with regarding substitutions, is a stark contrast to Draxler, who is much more trouble-free as he has spent much of his time at PSG on the bench.

In January, Sanchez can hold talks with any European club with his contract expiring at the end of the season and as it is looking extremely likely that he won't re-sign with Arsenal, the club are desperate to find a club that will offer something in return, whether it be a cash-only deal or a player like Draxler.
