A report in Spain suggests that midfield maestro Luka Modric could be leaving Real Madrid soon, and is being courted by the likes of Manchester United, Juventus and Paris-St-Germain.

Rumours outlet Don Balon suggests that 32-year-old Modric could be one of the players that will fall down the pecking order when Gareth Bale fully recovers from his injury.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane (Don Balon claims) firmly believes in the effectiveness of his 'BBC' of Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo and will have to make compromises in the rest of the team, once he can reunite all three on the pitch.

Modric could be the most obvious candidate, the report suggest, with the Croatian star now into his 30s and with younger midfield options at Zidane's disposal.

The French manager has reportedly already met with his Croatian star to discuss his future, which still looks uncertain.

Juventus, United and PSG would all be happy to secure him, as Don Balon argues that "all three would be willing to bathe him in gold" in order to have him at their service.

Modric has been at Real Madrid for five years, during which he has won one La Liga title, one Copa del Rey trophy and three Champions Leagues.
