Barcelona Star Spending His Injured Time Wisely by Signing Up for €15k-Per-Month Mansion

Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele is said to be shelling out a massive €15k-a-month for his new luxury home after calling an end to his three months in a suite inside the Juan Carlos I hotel.

The 20-year-old, who became Barca's most expensive player in history over the summer following his €105m (£93m) switch to the Camp Nou from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, has rested on a spot within the centre of Pedralbes, near the Catalonian stadium.

The young Frenchman, who pockets a cool basic salary of €12m-per-year, with the possibility of that rising to €20m should he reach certain objectives, had been residing in a luxury hotel since arriving in Spain, but has since decided to find a place to call his own, well, sort of.

According to Spanish news publication Sport, Dembele's new abode is just your standard run-of-the-mill three-story mansion which houses five bedrooms, an outdoor temperature-controlled swimming pool, enough parking for four cars (because why would you just need one), a lift (no injuries there then) and, of course, his very own private cinema. At least he won't have to spend a week's wage on popcorn like the rest of us.

The house and grounds spans over a stretch of land 750m squared, with with bricks and mortar covering 456m of that. Slightly bigger than your typical house, one would assume.

The fact Dembele now has his very own cinema may come in handy as he continues to recover from his thigh muscle rupture, which will see him sidelined until January.
