ISTANBUL (AP) – The Turkish Cup semifinal between Fenerbahce and Besiktas was abandoned on Thursday after visiting coach Senol Gunes was injured by an object thrown from the stands.

Gunes fell to the ground after being hit by the object and was taken to hospital where he needed five stitches, according to media reports.

Assistant coach Erdinc Gultekin was also left with a bloodied face after a tunnel bust-up between both sets of players and staff.
