Antonio Conte's job is safe until the end of the season

Antonio Conte won't be shown the door between now and the end of the season due to the candidates targeted to replace the Italian not wanting to join the club currently.

Chelsea have had a poor start to the year, and that continued with the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, and as per the Daily Star, he won't be given the axe just yet.

The report claims that managerial targets of Luis Enrique and Thomas Tuchel aren't willing to join the West London side just yet, due to the club being in a difficult spell, particularly with Champions League qualification uncertain.

Ever since he has joined, the Italian hasn't;t seen eye to eye with the Chelsea hierarchy with transfers being an ongoing problem with the club.

However, the club still think he is the best man to lead the side until the end of the season, and after all, he deserves time, he won the club the Premier League in his first season in charge in England.

They are also still in the Champions League, and are in the FA Cup quarter-final. That isn't exactly disastrous. Thankfully the club haven't made a rash decision and fired him already.
