Baba Rahman has joined Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga for the second time as he makes the switch to Germany on loan.
The Ghanaian has joined the German side on an 18-month loan deal which will see him return after the 2018/19 campaign.
Baba was on loan at Schalke for the first half of the 2016-17 season before a knee injury, sustained at the African Cup of Nations, caused the loan to be cut short.
The 23-year-old Ghanian was signed from German club Augsburg in August 2015 under former manager Jose Mourinho and made 23 appearances in his first campaign at the Bridge.
Chelsea are set to bring in Emerson Palmieri as a replacement as the Brazilian is set to undergo a medical.
