Maurizio Sarri still has belief that his side can clinch a Champions League spot come the end of the season despite sitting in sixth.
The Blues have let top four get out of their hands after drawing to Wolves, and losing to Everton at Goodison Park.
With eight games to go though, the Italian still has faith that Chelsea can get one of those four spots.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he said: "The last period of the Premier League will be very hard for every team.
"I think we can reach the top four even if we are not able to win eight matches in a row.
"We need to think match by match. The best way is to be focused on the next match."
Chelsea start the end of season run in with a trip to Wales on Sunday, to face relegation candidates Cardiff City.
