Chelsea have been given a substantial boost in the pursuit of one of their targets, Kostas Manolas, after Juventus lowered their interest for the defender.
Manolas has been a target for the Blues, and now fellow competitors Juventus have pulled out, after deeming the move too expensive, at £35 million, according to Tuttosport.
Juventus are looking for a centre-back after selling Leonardo Bonucci to fellow Italians AC Milan.
Chelsea will not be put off with the asking price as it looks like they won't be getting Virgil Van Dijk, due to the price tag, which is at £70 million.
Manolas has impressed for the last few seasons, and for the price Chelsea could potentially pay for him instead of others, could save them a lot of money as well.
