Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain to fly to Milan for talks
Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain is flying to Milan on Sunday evening to continue talks with AC Milan over a proposed transfer.
Chelsea have been chasing the Argentine following Maurizio Sarri's arrival, with the Italian rating him highly.
But CalcioMercato report that the 31-year-old will fly to Milan with his brother to meet AC Milan's technical director Leonardo.
Milan are reportedly offering Higuain a four-year-deal, believed to be worth in the region of £7 million-a-year.
This puts a scupper to the Blues' plans after they met with Juventus in Nice at the weekend over three targets, Higuain being one of them.
Despite these talks, it doesn't mean it's over - Chelsea won't give up without a fight if they want to sign him this summer. What this could mean for Alvaro Morata, it can only mean positive things for the Spaniard's Chelsea future.
