Christian Pulisic on Chelsea: We want to be right at the top after Blues move second in Premier League
The 21-year-old had another fine performance for Frank Lampard's side after he was given the nod to start for the Blues with Willian on the other flank.
A delightful first-half, full of flair and excellent foot-work was carried into the second 45 and Pulisic was rewarded with a goal to double Chelsea's lead after Tammy Abraham put the hosts ahead.
He nodded it in, despite being one of the smaller members of the side, to make it 2-0 and to secure his fifth goal in three games.
Chelsea climb into second spot in the Premier League, despite playing a game more, as they move above Leicester City and Manchester City.
Talking to BT Sport post-match, Pulisic said on the win: "Not bad at all! We want to be right up there at the top and we want to keep going."
Another goal for the tally for Christian Pulisic which sees him have five goals and five assists to his name this season. He joins Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah on the same record this season.
Despite Chelsea not playing well, they rode out the result which continues their fine run of form, and scorer Tammy Abraham echoed that it wasn't the finest of performances for the Blues on a wet afternoon in West London.
"It wasn't our best game but the most important thing is we got 3 points. Crystal Palace are a good side, they frustrated us but we believed."
