Roberto Mancini's men have now made it five wins from five in their qualification hunt for the European Championship Finals next year across Europe.

Chelsea star Emerson played a hand in keeping the Italian's 100% record in tact after he provided the assist to get Italy back on level terms after they went behind.

He cut in on the left-hand side and played a beautiful ball in the air across the box which found Andrea Belotti at the back post. He side footed his effort into the roof of the net to level the scores.

Discussing the victory, Emerson was delighted that he could contribute to another Azzuri victory: "I am happy with the assist as it helped the team, but I am above all pleased with an important win."

The full-back also added a comment on his Chelsea future, and believes he's in the best spell of his career so far: "I think it is the best moment of my career. I’m very happy at Chelsea, just as I was last season with Maurizio Sarri. Obviously, a player is always happier when he plays regularly."
