Juan Castillo is set to make a u-turn this summer as he is expected to sign a new contract with Chelsea this summer.

The 19-year-old looked to be heading out the exit doors at Stamford Bridge, but the imminent arrival of Frank Lampard as manager has made Castillo have a change of heart.

As per the Mail, Castillo now wants a chance to play under Lampard and Morris, as their arrivals are expected to be announced soon.

Castillo would be joined by an array of Chelsea youngsters to sign a new deal as Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount are all expected to pen their futures to the club.

The left-sided player has played under Jody Morris who will join as Frank Lampard's assistant, when the pair were together in the Chelsea academy.

It hasn't just left a mark on Castillo, but it is thought to have had an a real impact on the academy hopefuls as they look to make that step into the first-team.

Frank Lampard has to be confirmed yet, and then we should start to see several contracts being signed shortly after.
