Leeds fear Frank Lampard could be stumbling block for target Jake Clarke-Salter

Leeds United are interested in bringing Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter to Elland Road on a season-long loan this summer, but believe they could be stopped in their traps by expected new boss Frank Lampard.

Frank Lampard and Leeds United don't have the best of relationships due to the spy gate incident which took place prior to a fixture versus Derby County and Leeds.

Now the Sun are reporting that Leeds feel that Frank Lampard could get revenge on the Championship side by blocking any moves to Leeds.

The 21-year-old is a target for Marcelo Bielsa's side as they sent scouts to watch him during the U21 European Championships.

If they don't get their man this summer, it won't be 'stop crying Frank Lampard', it'll be 'stop crying Bielsa'.
