Tammy Abraham ready to accept England call-up to end if Gareth Southgate comes calling
England will soon face Czech Republic and Bulgaria in Euro 2020 qualifiers, and after the start to the season Abraham has had for Chelsea, he will fancy his chances of getting into the Three Lions' squad.
The 21-year-old has netted seven goals in the Premier League this season for Chelsea after Frank Lampard gave him the responsibility of leading the line for the Blues this season, after he spent the season thriving on loan in the Championship with Aston Villa, who were ultimately promoted to the top-flight.
Now according to the Telegraph, Abraham is ready to settle down with England if he is called up despite links with Nigeria.
Nigeria have been linked with the forward due to his father, but it appears Abraham is set to choose England.
Abraham, 21, spoke earlier on this season with a decision looming regarding his international future, and wasn't prepared to be drawn on any decision.
"Yes, I have heard the talk. I have not really been focused on that yet.
"I think when the time comes, the times comes. It is about focusing on Chelsea and hopefully scoring goals and getting victories.
"We never know. You can never say never, whatever comes first really. I just have to keep full focus on Chelsea."
If Tammy Abraham does play for England in the qualifiers, he will be an England international until he retires due to it being a competitive game.
