Maurizio Sarri has admitted many of his players are tired after returning from their respective nations following the international break.
The Italian has been adamant he isn't a fan of international breaks, and it has left some of the Blues players feeling the after effects.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Sarri had his say, again, on whether he was keen on the international break or not: "Not for me, because we have some players a little bit tired.
"Kante, Giroud, Hazard played three matches in seven days. Now we are not in October and they are more tired. We need to recover.
"I had the whole squad together only yesterday. I saw during training that some were a little bit tired."
This could see changes being made for our visit to Cardiff City on Sunday, with Callum Hudson-Odoi eager to start for the Blues following his recent run of form.
