Frank Lampard has been able to collect his thoughts on who will remain at the club after giving every member of the squad a fair shot in getting into the Blues side.

However, many of the usual suspects haven't been able to convince Lampard, and that goes for two well-known members of the squad.

According to the Daily Mail, Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko are not needed at Chelsea and are free to leave.

Danny Drinkwater joined Chelsea for £35 million from Leicester City in 2017, and hasn't played for the club since last August against Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Tiemoue Bakayoko hasn't been able to transfer his quality from AS Monaco to Stamford Bridge, leaving him to head out on loan.

With Drinkwater's wages, it's been a struggle for the club to shift him, whilst Bakayoko has gained interest from Everton.

The season kicks off in 14 days, and the final decisions are starting to be made for Frank Lampard.
