West Ham are expected to keep hold of Chelsea target Declan Rice this month.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with Rice since Frank Lampard's arrival at Stamford Bridge in 2019, and are keen on bringing him back to west London.
Rice was previously let go by the Blues at the age of 14 during his academy days.
"He's a fantastic player for West Ham and England," Lampard has said previously on the former Blues academy star.
"Fair play. It's a good story because there are a lot of those stories. It shows a strength of character but I wouldn't say it's a regret.
"Our academy is one of the best in the world and it's not easy because it's not an exact science. Declan deserves personal credit for the start he has had at West Ham."
But as per football.london, West Ham have no intention of selling Rice, especially in January, with the Hammers looking to build on their bright start to the Premier League season.
Chelsea are looking to strengthen with the addition of Rice but are focused on trimming the squad in January as Lampard looks to offload those surplus to requirements at the club.
