Later this evening, Liverpool take on Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarter finals. Jurgen Klopp and The Reds have to win by a margin of at least two goals if they want to advance to the semi-finals to play Chelsea. Liverpool supporters will be hoping that Mohamed Salah will be able to produce a bit of magic much like he did two years ago.

Two years ago on this date, Mohamed Salah scored an absolute peach of a goal against Chelsea. The Egyptian King came back to haunt his former club in a match that put Salah back on top of the Premier League goal scorers with 19 goals. 

Many opposition supporters believed that Mohamed Salah would be nothing more than a one season wonder but this goal solidified that he was here to stay in the world's elite. 

This goal was Mohamed Salah's first goal from outside of the box since January of 2018 against Manchester City.

Mohamed Salah finds himself on the exact same Premier League goal tally as he did two years ago, sitting joint top of the goal scorers with 19 goals tied with Harry Kane. 

Liverpool will need Mohamed Salah and the rest of his first team counterparts to put in an incredible performance against Real Madrid if they want to advance to the semi-finals of the competition.
