'I pay dinner!' - Claudio Ranieri On Keeping Clean Sheet, Praise For Klopp

A familiar face returned to the Premier League this week as Claudio Ranieri took the reigns at Watford. The Italian has been talking to the media ahead of the Premier League clash with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool on Saturday.

The Reds will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season as they travel to Vicarage Road without Brazilians Alisson Becker and Fabinho who will not return in time from international duty.

Ranieri On Watford v Liverpool

Ranieri is looking forward to the game but knows his new team will face a tough encounter.

"It will be a very good match. I have to prepare everything well,"

Claudio Ranieri

The 69 year old was asked how he and the team would celebrate if they were the victors on Saturday and in typical Ranieri style, he made the press in attendance laugh.

"No pizza... I pay dinner! Pizza is too little!"

Ranieri On Jurgen Klopp

Former Chelsea, Leicester and Fulham manager, Ranieri, was full of praise when he was asked about his counterpart Klopp.

"I watched his training sessions a long time ago when he was in Borussia Dortmund. He is a very good manager, he won everything and I'm happy to meet him on Saturday."

LFCTR Verdict

It will be great to have Ranieri back in the Premier League. The charming Italian will forever be remembered for his brilliant title winning season with Leicester.

Whilst I am sure the majority of Liverpool fans will be happy to see Ranieri do well, they will be hoping that the good fortune starts after this weekend's clash.
