However, that never came and for days no one knew what was happening.
We had reports that he'd done the interviews and all the contracts were signed. There were even pictures of him in a Liverpool shirt that got leaked.
A few days after the whole ordeal, Liverpool journalists revealed that the reason why the deal fell through was because of a knee issue.
Since then, Nabil Fekir has came out and revealed that it wasn't an issue with his knee, it was an issue with his representatives.

In a recent interview, Fekir has spoken about what actually happened with his move to Liverpool.
He also recalls a discussion he had with Jurgen Klopp moments before his deal with Liverpool fell through.
“Everything was closed. I passed all the interviews, I spoke with Jürgen Klopp, he told me that he loved me, we all did it.” said Fekir.
“When we were about to sign, there were problems with my representative and the negotiation broke down. They said it was because I had knee problems, but the truth has been proven over time. My knee is super good.”
