Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool put in an amazing performance against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tonight. The win for the Merseyside club was just their third win in 21 matches at the Emirates in the past 15 years.
The highest scoring contest in the Premier League did not disappoint as Liverpool won 0-3. The win saw brilliant performances from what seemed like the entire squad, but especially Fabinho Tavares, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Fabinho, back in his preferred position, controlled the game from the first minute until the final whistle blew. Mohamed Salah was able to end his scoring drought with the second goal of the match and looked dangerous for the entire 90 minutes. Trent Alexander-Arnold put in an inspired performance after being left out of the England national team setup for the recent World Cup Qualifiers.
However, the halftime substitute of Diogo Jota turned out to be the difference in the match. The Portuguese forward scored the first and third goals for Liverpool and looked like a man on a mission after being subbed on in the 61st minute.
Jurgen Klopp chose to rest him despite his impressive form while on international break for Portugal, but that did not stop him from being named LFC Transfer Room's Man of The Match.
The two time goal scorer narrowly beat out Fabinho Tavares after an impressive display in midfield.
The Reds look to be in fine form ahead of their trip to Madrid to face Zinedine Zidane in the Champions League quarter finals on Tuesday.
