Liverpool host Aston Villa hoping to avenge the embarrassing 7-2 defeat that Dean Smith's side inflicted on the Premier League champions in October.
The Reds are yet to win at home in 2021, their last win coming in December when Roberto Firmino nodded in the winner against Tottenham Hotspur.
It was a miserable March for Villa with no win at four. A comeback win against relegation-threatened Fulham thanks to a Trezeguet double.
Referee: Paul Tierney.
VAR: Andy Madley.
It'll be Tierney's 20th Premier League game of the season and his 15th in charge of a Reds fixture.
Liverpool are yet to be awarded for or against a penalty with the Lancashire-born official in charge.
The last fixture he officiated was the goalless draw with North West rivals Manchester United.
Possibly a bad omen for the Champions is that before the stalemate with the Red Devils, he also officiated another 0-0 draw in their trip to St. James' Park.
It could've been for a lot more had it not been for Karl Darlow's heroics between the sticks.
Aston Villa, on the other hand, have only won one out of the eight games that he has been in charge of.
It'll be the third Villa fixture of the season for Tierney. His last three saw a 1-1 draw, 3-2 defeat and a 0-3 defeat to Newcastle, Burnley and Leeds United respectively.
Liverpool are searching for the elusive home win and one that could thrust the wind back in their sails.
