Diogo Jota makes his first return to Molineux following his move from Wolves in the summer.
The 23-year-old signed for the Premier League champions for £41million and has scored five Premier League goals in 11 games.
Jota starts in just his third game since his return from a knee injury that he suffered in the final Champions League group stage stalemate with FC Midtjylland.
Jurgen Klopp named an unchanged starting XI from the 2-0 (4-0 aggregate) last 16 win over RB Leipzig last week, in which the Portuguese forward assisted the opening goal.
Following his assist, he was replaced by Divock Origi who then provided Sadio Mane, four minutes later.
However, the Belgian misses out tonight through a muscular injury.
He featured for 17 minutes in the corresponding fixture at Anfield.
By that time, the Reds were already 3-0 up.
"He has only friends here. He is a really relaxed guy so I dont think he will be too emotional tonight." Jurgen Klopp said.
"After the game, he has time to speak to his friends, during the game he can show them why they miss him."
A win for Liverpool could see the champions leapfrog rivals Everton and move into sixth.
Wolves, on the other hand, are eight points worse off than tonight's opponents with a win seeing them jump to 11th.
