We all know that Alisson Becker is the best goalkeeper in the world. From his shot stopping ability to his range of passing. The Brazilian has it all.
However, he does need a rest every now and then from bailing Liverpool defenders out and that's where academy graduate Caoimhin Kelleher comes into play.
The 22-year-old has been Alisson's deputy for a couple of seasons now and whenever he has been between the sticks, the Irishman has always impressed.
The Carabao Cup will be a massive competition for the young keeper with it being his main source of minutes this season.
That's why when he saved a penalty when Liverpool were only leading 1-0 against Norwich, is such a huge moment for his confidence.
Kelleher had this to say after his spectacular 'rabona save':"I was just happy to make the save.
"It was a moment in the game [when] they were coming back into it. It came off my foot and I think Joe made a great block after it as well. It was just a great team performance to keep the clean sheet.
"It’s always difficult when there’s a group of players who haven’t played together that many times. The few young lads making their debuts didn’t look out of place, came in and did really well. So I think we have great squad depth, and a great win.
"We want to win every competition we are in. This one especially is for younger players and for people like me who don’t get that many games, it’s a good opportunity to get more games, so the more we progress the more games we will get."
Hopefully, Liverpool can go further in this competition that previous years so we get to see Kelleher make some great saves!
