MATCHDAY LIVE FT RESULT: Liverpool U18s 3-1 Arsenal U18 - FA Youth Cup, line-ups and match action

Liverpool's youngsters are at Anfield for the FA Youth Cup Quarter-Final against Arsenal.

FULL TIME: LIVERPOOL 3-1 ARSENAL: (22' Woltman, 36' Norris, 51' Musialowski; 64' Azeez)

The referee takes one final look at his watch and blows the final whistle to roars from the Liverpool contingent, they're just a game away from the FA Youth Cup final.

90+ Liverpool have a chance to put the icing on the cake, the pass from Mabaya too much for Woltman.

Chambers is down following a collision off the ball following his clearance, another sign of frustration from the North London side.

77' Taylor-Hart does well once more, he tries to fire into the roof of the net but it is well blocked by the skipper Quansah.

The Reds enjoying a bit more of the ball after more brilliant play from Balagizi, they work the ball well in the tight area on the edge of the box, Musialowski tries to worm his way into a crossing position but turns the ball behind for a corner.

68' Ejeheri is caught in no man's land as he chases a searching through ball, Woltman latches on, tries to loop one over the Arsenal goalkeeper but the 18-year-old makes up enough ground to clean up the danger.

Edwards is down once again, Quansah does brilliantly with his last-ditch tackle. The Arsenal youngsters are not happy.

IT'S THERE! A thunderous strike from Azeez, Davies guesses the right way but it has too much venom on it. 3-1, a lifeline for the Gunners.

PENALTY TO ARSENAL! Khayon Edwards is brought down by Koumetio at the by-line after the forward got his shot off. The referee points to the spot, Edwards receiving treatment and Azeez has the ball.

61' It's one-way traffic at the minute, not what Marc Bridge-Wilkinson would like! Azeez has acres of space, he looks for the far-post but can't steer it on target. Close but not close enough.

58' Flores ghosts into a dangerous position, he goes close with his curling effort but it bends wide.

A break in play after Stephenson and Henry-Francis collide. Henry-Francis trudges off while the Reds number six stays down for treatment.

Elsewhere, Ipswich go through after extra time thanks to a 119th-minute own goal to win 3-2. 

GOAL LIVERPOOL! An incisive breakaway spearheaded by Balagizi, he tees up Musialowski who weaves in and out and picks out the bottom corner. Brilliant goal. Liverpool 3-0.

Half Time: Liverpool 2-0 Arsenal (Woltman '22, Norris (p) '36). The youngsters have done superbly in defence and attack allowing a handful of half-chances. Musialowski obviously deemed a danger by the visitors, and rightly so, allowing Balagizi and Woltman to enjoy space in the pockets.

Two minutes of added time at the end of the first half. Liverpool 2-0 Arsenal. 

41' Azeez once again the danger man. His effort from outside the box is catching practice for Davies.

40' Dom Corness tries his luck, Ejeheri makes a meal of it but recovers at the second time of asking.
