Liverpool have been a torn in Porto's side in Europe for many seasons now. The Portuguese giants have faced defeat to Liverpool on several ocassions for a large part of the last decade. There is no doubt they are a much improved side since the last time they faced Jurgen Klopp's side. Porto have a history of producing talent that have gone on to become incredible players. One young talent currently at the club that Liverpool should keep an eye on is Fabio Vieira.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs in the last couple of months including Liverpool. Rumours at one stage had suggested the Reds would arrange a swap deal for Vieira with Marko Grujic going the opposite direction. Grujic did sign for Porto but Vieira would not be included in the deal.
The young midfield has not racked up a boat load of goals to his name but he has already shown great potential with performances in the Uefa U20's European Championships, where he was named player of the tournament with Portugal who finished runners up.
Vieira has had a flying start to the Primeira Liga season with three assists in five appearances. With Porto suffering from an injury crisis of their own, it is very likely Vieira features against Liverpool in some capacity.
Many clubs will be keeping a keen eye on Fabio Vieira's progress going forward this season as his current contract winds down, including Liverpool when they travel to the Estadio do Dragao on Tuesday night.
