Which Fulham player would you want to join Liverpool?

LFC Transfer Room takes a look at what Fulham players would make the Liverpool squad ahead of the two side's Premier League match on Sunday.

Liverpool face Fulham in a must win match at Anfield on Sunday. Jurgen Klopp and his squad will look to avoid six straight home defeats after a home loss to Chelsea put a damper on the side's top four aspirations.

Ahead of the match, LFC Transfer Room writers Stephen, Matt, and Will take a look at which Fulham player they would sign to join The Reds.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Loftus-Cheek is a powerful midfielder and an ideal player for Liverpool.

Marauding forward could open up and number of opportunities for the Reds with creating gaps.

With Jurgen Klopp tending to play three midfielders, it may not fit his style of play. However he would be a good attacking substitute up front with the physicality that he offers.

Joachim Anderson

Liverpool need defensive reinforcements in the worst possible way. With Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip all out for the season, Joachim Anderson would comfortably slide into the starting centre back role.

Standing just under six foot three inches (198cm), Anderson is very strong in the air. The Danish defender is at Fulham on loan from Lyon.

Joachim Anderson likes to play long balls, which Liverpool are desperately missing at the moment, and is a no-nonsense defender.

ANDRÉ-FRANK ZAMBO ANGUISSA

Fulham signed Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa from Marseilles for £30 million as part of their extravagant summer transfer window after promotion in 2018.

This season, the midfielder has been a shining star in Scott Parker’s otherwise underwhelming squad.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has established himself as a favourite of Scott Parker at Fulham.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has established himself as a favourite of Scott Parker at Fulham.

Ranking in the 99th percentile for completed dribbles per 90 (3.20), the 92nd percentile for interceptions (1.76) as well as completing the 8th most tackles in this seasons Premier League (64), the Cameroonian is a manager’s dream.

Operating as a box-to-box midfielder, Anguissa would be an excellent addition to Liverpool’s squad, especially considering Georginio Wijnaldum’s likely departure this summer.

If he has performed this well for a team currently sitting 18th in the league, imagine how good he would be under Jurgen Klopp.
