Sky Sports pundit and Former Manchester United player Gary Neville says Mohamed Salah is the best player in the world after his performance against Watford.
Mohamed Salah has gone to another level this season and he is finally getting the credit he deserves.
The talk about Salah has gone from the best player at Liverpool to the best player in the league. Now, it is being discussed if he is the best player in the world.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Gary Neville believes so.
“I think he could be yes (the best player in the world). I look at Mbappe or Neymar or Messi or Ronaldo, who have been the best players in the world for the last sort of five, 10 years and they’re not at the level they’d ordinarily be at.”
“I think Salah is at a level which is really high and has been for three or four seasons."
"A special player, ruthless, clinical, so single-minded in terms of scoring goals so I think in this moment in time he could be.”
He is. That's the answer. Right now, no one in the world is playing better than Salah.
There are a few playing extremely well like Benzema, Haaland and Lewandowski but no one is doing it as good and as consistent as Mo Salah at the highest of levels.
The other three are scoring just as many goals as Salah but Salah's performances as a whole are different gravy.
Adding more creativity to his game this season as excelled Salah to a higher place for me.
