Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski could leave the club in 2022.
Lewandowski has been one of the best players in the world for the last 10 years. His consistent numbers and performances have been at Messi/Ronaldo level at times.
Unfortunately for Bayern, Lewandowski isn't getting any younger. So it will be very likely him not signing a new deal and Bayern will look to freshen up.
What's this got to do with Liverpool? Liverpool looked into Lewandowski in the Summer with a possibility of trying to lure him in January.
With Liverpool not having an out and out striker, the possibility of getting Lewandowski cheap may be tempting. Even though he is coming towards the end of his career. His ability isn't fading away.
The Polish striker broke the record for most goals in a Bundesliga season last season. Will he suit Liverpool and will Jurgen Klopp trust him once more at the ages he's at?
This is a tricky one. I do want Liverpool to get a striker, buy would rather someone younger that will be here for a lot longer.
Would I complain if we got him? It's Robert Lewandowski. Who complains about adding him to your team? Would I rather Erling Haaland? Definitely.
I'd be surprised if we were in for him but with Jurgen Klopp already having worked with him, it has a slight chance of happening.
Getting James Milner in at his age worked so why not Lewandowski? Imagine him up front with the amount of chances we create. Dreamland..
