The dust is settling in Merseyside after the European Super League fiasco. Liverpool FC have withdrawn from the breakaway league and have begun the legal process of formally getting themselves removed from the Super League.

Although the talk was mainly on John Henry and his apology to the supporters for joining the Super League, there is some major news that should worry Liverpool supporters and players alike. When speaking on the Touchline Talk Podcast, football insider Dean Jones revealed that there is a small chance that Jurgen Klopp could leave Liverpool this summer.

Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has been linked with Bayern Munich in the past.

When asked about Jurgen Klopp, Jones responded, "He's so frustrated, as I'm told."

"About all of the issues beyond actually just coaching this time and trying to retain the Premier League title."

The insider went on to say that if everything stays the same as it currently is that he could see Klopp leaving Liverpool.

"I think if FSG stayed and if everything stayed as it was right now, I think there's a small possibility that Klopp would get itchy feet and - if Bayern came forward for him - I think he'd be tempted to go."

Bayern Munich's interest in Jurgen Klopp is very real and the German giants have been after Klopp every since he left Borussia Dortmund in 2015.

Jones revealed that Timo Werner and Thiago Alcantara were both major areas of frustration for Jurgen Klopp.

"[Klopp's frustration] goes all the way back really to when he tried to get Timo Werner. He wanted Werner, that was one of the things he wanted. Didn't get him and he went to Chelsea."

"Since then, he's got Thiago through the door and that was his kind of luxury signing. [Klopp] Had to really fight to get him even though it wasn't a lot of money."

While the journalist admitted that it is only a small chance, it is still nerve-racking that there is a possibility Jurgen Klopp could leave Liverpool this summer.
