When asked about Real Madrid he responded, "If I had at the end of my career three clubs, Mainz, Dortmund and Liverpool, that would not be too bad? I would not regret it [not managing Real Madrid]."

"When we flew out, I regret we don't live here! The weather is so much better here! You are blessed!"

The questions about Jurgen Klopp leaving Liverpool for Spain did not stop there. Shortly after he was asked about managing Real Madrid, Jurgen Klopp was asked which Spanish club he believes that he would suit best.

"[Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid] are three good clubs. I would fit all of them! But I have no time and my Spanish is really bad! Real Mallorca would be nice! To live at least!"

After discussing his managerial future, the German manager was asked if Liverpool is out for revenge after the 2018 Champions League final.

"We are not on a revenge tour here. I don't believe too much in revenge, but it would be nice to get through."

"Madrid are outstanding - sometimes you meet opponents again. It is nothing to do with the Premier League season either."
