With the 2020/21 season winding down, kit's for the upcoming season will begin to hit the shelves in the coming weeks.
Soon, Nike would've completed their first season as primary kit sponsors for Liverpool FC and there is much excitement for what may be in store for next season's kit.
Early Friday, more leaked images of Liverpool's 21/22 home kit leaked via footyheadlines.com and Twitter account @KB2X.
The kit features a different design from the previously leaked images as the new photos feature the player issue kit. The kit looks to have a similar style to this season's kit as it too has an underlying design on the base of the kit that seems to reverberate throughout the entire kit.
Again it features a raised rubber-like badge and Nike logo on the front of the kit. The eternal flames and "96" sit just beneath the back collar that features a dark green fabric with white and bright crimson stripes; the front of the collar is just bright crimson. Lastly, the pattern on the front featuring diagonal stripes with a "zig-zag" that meets the stripes together.
Overall, a solid-looking kit in my opinion. The bright crimson secondary colour seems like a bit much at the moment and almost out of place on the kit at times, but I'm sure it will grow on us over time. The bright crimson colour will feature on Liverpool's away kit as well.
The 21/22 home kit is set to be released in the coming weeks.
