The 2020/21 campaign for Liverpool continues despite the hardships faced across all competitions.
With Champions League aspirations still very much alive, their title defence has been a disappointing one.
Not only will a healthy squad reinvigorate the squad, but perhaps a new look on the pitch would bring some mojo back.
This season kits featured gold Premier League logo badges for the first time in the Reds history.
On Friday, images emerged on Twitter giving a glimpse of the potential home, away, and third kits for the 2021/22 season.
At first glance, they are very simplistic and have a clean look to them. Initial reactions from a poll conducted on the official LFCTR account showed a 53% approval rating.
Images initially surfaced in early March of the leaked home kit, which was labelled the "best kit in years."
The pattern of the home and away tops look semi-inverted of one another with the white strip showing resemblances of Adidas' 2010/11 kits.
One of the key aspects that stand out here is the yellow thirds; donned with the old Nike logo and colour homage to the run of kits in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
A feature of the strip is the vertical stripes that appear to look better here than the home and away horizontal design.
This offers a retro vibe for what could possibly end up being the best kit of the bunch, if true.
It's worth noting that while these images have surfaced, there is no official word at this time of these being the legitimate three in production.
