Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals and if they progress they will play FC Porto or Chelsea in the last four of the UEFA Champions League.

A 4-0 aggregate win over RB Leipzig in the round of 16 set up the clash with x as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane bagged both goals across the two legs.

The six-time winners topped Group D ahead of Atalanta, Ajax and FC Midtjylland (W4, D1, L1).

Jurgen Klopp led his side their sixth European triumph in 2019, putting behind them the heartbreak of 2018 as Real Madrid beat them in the final, in Kyiv.

Mohamed Salah and Sergio Ramos will come face to face once again as the two come to blows once more.

Their league form hasn't represented one of the reigning champions as they sit in sixth going into the international break.

A week ago, winning the Champions League seemed the best chance for Liverpool to qualify for next year's competition following a defeat to Fulham.

Quarter-final ties are scheduled to be held on April 6/7 (1st legs) and April 13/14 (2nd legs).

The semi-finals have too been drawn with the first legs scheduled to be held on 27/28 April and the second legs on 4/5 May.

If Liverpool make it to the final in the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, they will be the away side.
