In news that will come as a surprise to nobody, Mohamed Salah of Liverpool has been voted the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for September.
The Egyptian enjoyed a fantastic month, scoring three times to help the Reds maintain their position near the top of the Premier League table.
Salah has been in scintillating form for Liverpool this season and his three goals against Leeds United, Crystal Palace and Brentford saw him top the poll.
Outstanding Form Beats Rivals
The 29 year old, who has been receiving many plaudits over recent weeks from ex players and pundits, beat off some serious competition from other in form players.
Salah picked up 69% of the vote holding off rivals Michail Antonio, Cristiano Ronaldo, Antonio Rudiger, Ismaila Sarr and Ivan Toney.
It is just rewards and recognition for the forward who appears to have taken his game and work rate to new levels this season.
Liverpool fans believe that this could be another brilliant season at the club but know their Egyptian King is key to any success.
That is why they are so keen to see his drawn out contract situation resolved as soon as possible and Salah tied to the club for another few exciting years.
