After defeating Red Bull Leipzig in the Champions League Round of 16, Liverpool drew Real Madrid in the competition's quarter finals. Ahead of next week's match, Mohamed Salah discussed Sergio Ramos, revenge for the match in Kiev and the potential of playing in Spain one day.
When speaking to Marca, Mohamed Salah discussed his motivation and getting revenge for Kiev saying,
"Let's just say that I have special motivation to win the tie and go through to the semi finals. What's going to happen now isn't going to change the result of the final in Kiev."
The Egyptian winger laughed when asked about facing Sergio Ramos again.
"That game is in the past, so I don't think about it. I'm thinking about the team. Everyone is focused on their team and everyone wants to win."
The two time Premier League Golden Boot winner said that out of all the Real Madrid players, he particularly likes his former Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard.
"Hazard. I have a great relationship with him, he did very well at Chelsea, but he's not getting any luck at the moment."
However, he did acknowledge that it was a tough decision saying, "I can't pick one... the majority of them are great players."
In something that will make Liverpool supporters nervous, the winger talked about the potential of playing in Spain one day.
"Why not [play in Spain]? No one knows what's going to happen in the future, so... maybe one day, yes."
Liverpool return to football on 3 April when they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
