Liverpool Refused Match Movement Against Watford

Premier League refuse Liverpool's request to move game against Watford to an evening kick off as it clashes with Brazil game.

With Liverpool Brazilian duo Alisson Becker and Fabinho being called up to the national team, it leaves Liverpool with a dilemma.

Brazil's match against Uruguay in a World Cup qualifier is scheduled for the day before Liverpool's Premier League match away to Watford

Liverpool have asked the Premier League if they can move the game to a 7.45pm kick off instead of the 12.30pm on Saturday 16th October. Moving the game to the later time would allow time for Alisson and Fabhino to play for both national team and club.

The Premier League have refused this suggestion which will force Liverpool to replace both Brazilian players. Firmino, however will be available due to not being called up to the national team.

Watford also opposed the move due to time given to the supporters. With only a a couple of weeks to the game, fans will have already made arrangements for the game so will be difficult to change.
