In the news once again, Mohamed Salah has put La Liga duo Barcelona and Real Madrid on red alert after his latest interview with Spanish outlet Marca.
While most supporters will look to his quotes on refusing to rule out a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid, they should also be concerned about his comments on his relationship with Jurgen Klopp.
When he was asked about playing in Spain in the future he said, "Why not [play in Spain]? No one knows what's going to happen in the future, so... maybe one day, yes."
However, his relationship with the Liverpool manager seems less than solid after he described their relationship as 'normal'.
“It’s a normal relationship between two professionals. That’s how I’d describe it.”
While Salah did not say that the two have a bad relationship, his comments will not fill Liverpool supporters with confidence.
It would also be fair to say that this is a media masterclass with the Spanish outlet choosing to publish this interview just days before the Reds travel to Madrid to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter finals.
Ahead of the match, Liverpool seem to have regained their form having won their last two matches. The Reds defeated Red Bull Leipzig and Wolverhampton 2-0 and 1-0 respectively.
Will the Reds be able to keep calm heads amidst the Salah rumours?
