Sky Sports pundit and former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has had his say on Trent Alexander-Arnold and the Mohamed Salah rumours.
When speaking about the young right-back being left out of the England set up, Micah Richards said, "Trent Alexander-Arnold should be in the England squad."
The former Manchester City and Aston Villa man seemingly gained a lot of respect from the Anfield faithful with these comments as Liverpool supporters were rightly upset at Trent being left out of the side.
The Sky Sports pundit then had his say on the recent Mohamed Salah exit rumours.
"What more do people want from him? 92 goals in 149 appearances for Liverpool. He's doing his job."
Numbers like that put Mohamed Salah up with the all time Liverpool greats, and our writers agree with him, with him making the Liverpool all time front 3.
After singing his praises for the Real Madrid and Barcelona linked Salah, Richards said that he believes Mohamed Salah is happy at Liverpool and that he will stay at the club.
"When I was in Italy with Mo Salah, he absolutely loved Liverpool. He loves Liverpool [now] - I would be surprised if he wanted to go anywhere else."
Mohamed Salah and Micah Richards were teammates at Fiorentina during the 2014/15 season.
While Salah continues to make the news, Micah Richards' words should calm down Liverpool supporters even if just a little. Liverpool will look to capitalise on Chelsea's dropped points with a win over Arsenal this evening.
