Watch: Liverpool Star Mohamed Salah Meets Waxwork Of Himself In Madame Tussauds

After yesterday's teaser from Madame Tussauds in London, more footage has emerged of Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah meeting the new waxwork figure of himself.

Upon seeing himself, a smiling Salah said:

"That looks exactly like me, it's like I'm looking into the mirror."

Salah was clearly happy with the waxwork as he continued to smile and praise the figure during a photoshoot.

As reported by the BBC, Madame Tussauds London's general manager Tim Waters explained why Salah had not been captured in his Liverpool kit.

"We're sure a lot of people would have expected to see Mo's figure styled in his Liverpool kit, but we really wanted to mark his international superstar status."

Waters was very complimentary about Liverpool's talisman who has been in sensational form this season and said he was fully deserving of a figure in their museum.

"One of the game's greats, arguably the best in the world right now, and incredibly deserving of a figure."

The statue will be available for viewing by fans from Saturday.
