Georginio Wijnaldum has been very impressive for the Netherlands in his recent matches. Playing in a different role than he does at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp, Wijnaldum has scored 14 goals in his last 23 games for his national side. To put things into perspective, the former Newcastle midfielder has scored two goals in his last 37 Liverpool matches.

In a stat from bet365, Georginio Wijnaldum has 18 goals and six assists in his 47 Netherlands appearances.

The box to box midfielder put in an impressive display amidst rumours of his Anfield exit. Wijnaldum is rumoured with multiple clubs including Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and most notably Barcelona.

Barcelona have a leg up in the race for the Liverpool midfielder's signature as they are currently managed by Wijnaldum's former national team manager, Ronald Koeman.

Liverpool play Arsenal this Saturday and Real Madrid just three days later in Madrid.
