Could Grealish Be The Signing Of The Summer for Liverpool?

Jack Grealish's signature will likely be available this summer and with the Reds definitely going shopping, he may be on the table.

While not a typical Jurgen Klopp signing (due to already being a big name), Jack Grealish might be just the player that the Reds' boss needs to improve on what has been a relatively woeful season.

Valued at £54Million as per Transfermarkt (although likely selling for a higher price), the Aston Villa captain might be just the replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, while filling the attacking void that Philippe Coutinho, who is sorely missed, left when he signed for Barcelona.

Renowned for dribbling past defenders, the Birmingham-born skipper would also fit right in alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino. Currently ranking third in assists via open play, mainly being from outside the box, his ball control and passing precision could greatly improve Liverpool's starting eleven.

It is also clear that Jurgen Klopp views the player with great admiration, as while talking to Sky Sports after the previous defeat to Aston Villa, the Boss attributed him with “What A Player”.

So, could Jack Grealish be the signing of the summer? Possibly. While likely being at a high price, recent investment from RedBird into FSG is presumed to provide more money to the reds, on top of many expected departures. Thus, if the England international were to sign for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, it would be a great addition to the team.
