Luis Suarez tipped for a sensational Liverpool return

Atletico Madrid forward and former Liverpool star Luis Suarez has been linked with a move to Anfield, seven years after his move to Barcelona.

Luis Suarez has been linked with a sensational return to Anfield, seven years after he left for the Nou Camp, according to reports.

The 34-year-old arrived at the Wanda Metropolitano in the summer after he was deemed surplus to requirements following the arrival of Ronald Koeman.

Since his arrival in Madrid, he has scored 19 goals in 25 La Liga matches helping Atletico Madrid to the summit ahead of his former club.

They have a four-point advantage over their closest competitors with 10 games remaining.

Following his departure from Merseyside, he opted for Catalonia where he enjoyed a trophy-laden six years, including four La Liga's, four Copa del Rey's and a Champions League, to name a few.

Liverpool have struggled to find the back of the net since the turn of the year with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino coming under fire as Mohamed Salah sits joint-leader of the Premier League goalscorers chart.

The Spanish outlet understands that the Premier League champions are interested in a return for the tenacious Uruguayan forward, with the club reportedly keen on negotiations.

Suarez is one of the many names tipped with a summer arrival to the six-time Champions League winners.

Patson Daka and Odsonne Edouard are the few goal-getters linked with a switch. More outlandish claims suggest interest in wonderkids Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland, however, the price tag for both of these stars seems to be a stumbling block, with the bar being set between €150-€250million.
