Liverpool and Kylian Mbappe, it's a dream move for all Liverpool fans across the world. With Jurgen Klopp openly saying he would love to have him as a player and Liverpool players liking posts, fans have been fed a dream and they're clinging onto it, hoping for the best one day.
Unfortunately, well respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has come and shot those dreams dead in their tracks.
On his popular podcast, Here We Go Podcast, Romano had this to say about the situation: "Liverpool fans are always asking about Mbappé, because they dream of him. But at the moment, there is no chance. No chance."
So there it is, not the answer Liverpool fans probably wanted about Mbappe, but it seems like it's the only one they're getting.
Fabrizio didn't mention anything else about Kylian Mbappe or where he was going to end up.
PSG have been confident on tying the World Cup winner down to another contract after they signed Brazilian star Neymar down to a new contract until 2025 this May.
PSG president Al Khelaifi had previously commented on the Mbappe situation and said this to canalplus “No way Mbappé leaves, I assure you he will stay at PSG. He wants to stay and he’s not going anywhere. Blocked by Mbappé's extension? No, we are not blocked at all. We are really calm, very relaxed.”
So it seems like with Liverpool having 'no chance' of signing Mbappe and Real Madrid losing Zinedine Zidane, and probably having to sell to sign this summer, it is looking more likely everyday that Mbappe will be staying in Paris for the foreseeable future.
