Steven Gerrard is currently enduring a historic season with Scottish side Rangers. The former Liverpool midfielder managed the Ibrox side to its first title in ten years, stopping Celtic from winning their tenth straight Scottish Premiership title in the process.
After having such an amazing season, it is only right that clubs from the big five leagues have taken notice. Wales Online have reported that Steven Gerrard could be without his star man Alfredo Morelos with clubs showing interest in bringing him in this summer.
When speaking to This Is Futbol, former Rangers defender Michael Ball revealed he believes that Harry Wilson could move to Gerrard's side this summer.
Gerrard Knows Wilson
When discussing Harry Wilson's potential move to Rangers, Michael Ball said that Gerrard has a good connection with Wilson.
“Steven’s got that connection with him. He knows of him, so that personal relationship could be a bonus. The money, we’re not too sure what they have to spend, so it all depends if any players move out as well at Rangers."
Alfredo Morelos Has To Leave
“If [Alfredo] Morelos moves on, the big money that they’ll get would give Rangers the opportunity to bring Harry and maybe a few others in.”
Morelos has 17 goals and 12 assists in 42 total appearances for Gerrard's Rangers. Harry Wilson, in comparison, has seven goals and 12 assists in 39 appearances for Cardiff City this season.
Will we see Harry Wilson play under Gerrard next season?
