Liverpool have been linked with what seems like half of Europe ahead of the summer transfer window. However, some names continue to pop up. Rodrigo de Paul, Donyell Malen and Alessandro Bastoni are all links that won't go away. Another name that has popped up recently is former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Reports claim that Aaron Ramsey is strongly considering a summer transfer to Liverpool. This move should be no surprise to Juventus supporters, as the Turin side is looking to move on from a number of players this summer.
However, while Liverpool are interested in the Juventus midfielder, there are several clubs after Ramsey's signature. West ham and Arsenal are also interested in signing the Wales international this summer. While there is competition, CalcioMercato claim that Liverpool are 'at the front of the queue'.
Liverpool do have an advantage, as they will have the wages of Georginio Wijnaldum to spend on the current £400,000 a week man. One thing that is very clear, however, is that Liverpool and Michael Edwards will not offer him that amount.
This season, Aaron Ramsey has featured 26 times across all competitions, scoring two goals and adding an additional five assists. This means that he averages a goal or assist every 204 minutes, which would be a welcomed change for the Liverpool midfield.
Liverpool play Aaron Ramsey's former club Arsenal on 3 April after the international break.
